Who Are Veterans and What Do They Do?

Whether you served in the armed forces, the Navy, or the Air Force, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers programs and benefits to help you. These include education opportunities, health care, compensation payments, burials, and more. The VA also helps veterans with lingering issues from their service, such as post-traumatic stress disorder.
